Companies from South Africa, Zambia, Rwanda, and Mauritius also featured prominently, reflecting the growing strength of Africa’s startup ecosystem.

The company links informal retailers with manufacturers, distributors, and logistics providers while also offering technology-driven financing solutions that improve product availability and efficiency.
2. PalmPay Ltd (Nigeria)
Launched in 2019 with backing from Chinese smartphone giant Transsion Holdings, PalmPay has grown into one of Nigeria’s leading fintech super apps. The platform offers money transfers, bill payments, savings products, and credit facilities.
