President Bola Tinubu and well-wishers around the world have celebrated the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, as he marks his 72nd birthday.
President Tinubu congratulated the renowned cleric, praising his decades of service to God and his contributions to spiritual development, education, leadership, human-capital development and humanitarian causes.
In a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu joined the Oyedepo family, members of Living Faith Church Worldwide, the Christian community and the bishop’s admirers in celebrating the milestone.
The President commended Oyedepo’s emphasis on integrity, discipline, diligence, responsibility and excellence, while highlighting the impact of institutions established through his ministry, including Covenant University and Landmark University.
Tinubu noted that Bishop Oyedepo’s influence extends beyond the pulpit into education, publishing, leadership development and humanitarian service.
“For over four decades of ministry, Bishop Oyedepo has become a prominent Nigerian voice on faith, leadership, integrity, education and human development,” Tinubu said.
The President also acknowledged the social-development initiatives associated with the bishop’s ministry, including schools, healthcare facilities and humanitarian interventions, as well as the David Oyedepo Foundation’s support for education and people in need.
Joining the birthday celebrations, a special tribute to the bishop expressed gratitude to God for what it described as the uncommon grace upon his life, ministry and impact.

President Tinubu similarly prayed for continued wisdom, strength, good health and renewed grace for Bishop Oyedepo as he continues his service to God and humanity.
On this auspicious occasion of his 72nd birthday, I celebrate his life of service and pray that Almighty God will continue to grant him wisdom, strength, good health and renewed grace as he advances the cause of faith, education, morality and human development,” Tinubu said.
The President wished Bishop Oyedepo many more years of fulfilment, good health and continued service to God and humanity.
