Tega Dominic has strongly denied allegations linking her romantically to media personality Frank Edoho, insisting there was never any emotional or sexual relationship between them.
The controversy erupted after Frank Edoho’s estranged wife, Sandra Edoho, publicly accused Tega and several other women of having romantic relationships with the television presenter during their marriage.
Reacting through her social media platforms, the former Big Brother Naija housemate dismissed the allegations as false and damaging, challenging her accusers to provide proof to support the claims.
Tega said she initially chose to remain silent in order to avoid unnecessary controversy but decided to speak out after the allegations continued to circulate online.
According to her, Frank Edoho is only a friend and there was never any inappropriate relationship between them. She explained that they became closer around the middle of last year after the media host sent birthday wishes to her mother. She added that, like many public figures, they had known each other through social media and mutual acquaintances before then.
The reality star also disclosed that the only time she physically met Frank Edoho was in the presence of her manager, Paul Ukonu, stressing that she has nothing to hide.
She stated that if there had ever been a romantic relationship between them, she would have openly admitted it, noting that both she and Frank were already separated from their spouses at the time.
Tega said the accusations have caused her emotional distress and could negatively affect the personal brand she has worked hard to build over the years.
She maintained that her reputation could not be dragged into what she described as false narratives without consequences.
It is important for evidence to be provided because I will not let this slide, she said, insisting that anyone making such claims must present proof.
She further revealed that she has handed the matter over to her lawyers, adding that legal action would be taken against those spreading the allegations.
In her statement, Tega said the accusations were upsetting and warned that there would be consequences for attempts to tarnish her image. She added that this would be the only time she would publicly address the issue.
