LONDON: Grammy-winning Nigerian British singer and songwriter Mark Yinka Orabiyi, popularly known as Talay Riley, has reportedly died following a fatal stabbing incident in East London. He was 35.
According to local reports, the singer was found with multiple stab wounds on Pankhurst Avenue in Silvertown at about 9 a.m. on Friday, June 5. Emergency responders rushed to the scene and attempted to revive him, but he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Authorities have since launched a murder investigation, with homicide detectives from the Specialist Crime Command leading inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
