Tinubu Seeks Second Term, Promises Prosperity at APC Rally in Kaduna

KADUNA: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on the people of Kaduna State to support his re-election bid, expressing gratitude for the massive turnout at the All Progressives Congress (APC) gathering.

Addressing party supporters and political leaders, Tinubu described the occasion as a historic day for his administration and thanked Nigerians, especially the people of Kaduna, for their support during the last presidential election.

The President said he returned to Kaduna to appreciate the people for their votes and seek their mandate for another term in office.

“I come again to thank you for that and to seek your mandate for a second term to give a promise of prosperity, continuity and progress,” Tinubu said.

He urged eligible voters to ensure they possess their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and participate actively in the forthcoming electoral process.

Tinubu, while addressing concerns about poverty and economic hardship, said his administration was working to eradicate poverty and improve the living conditions of Nigerians.

He pointed to the regular payment of salaries by governments and commended state governors for what he described as their developmental efforts.

According to the President, his administration’s agenda offers Nigerians opportunities for economic growth, recovery and prosperity.

He also accused his political opponents of relying on hatred rather than presenting credible alternatives, insisting that his government has a programme for national development.

Tinubu further maintained that the country was moving beyond the challenges of the past, citing the removal of fuel subsidy and pledging continued efforts against corruption, dishonesty and selfishness in public service.

The President also acknowledged the contributions of APC leaders, youths and supporters, promising a better future for younger Nigerians and the elderly.

He called on voters to support APC candidates across all levels of government, including governorship, Senate, House of Representatives and state Houses of Assembly elections.

Tinubu’s appeal comes as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, with political parties and prospective candidates stepping up mobilisation efforts.

The President urged his supporters to turn out massively at the polls, expressing confidence that they would renew his mandate.
