ABUJA: After their difficult journey via Libya in preparation for the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualification, the Super Eagles have finally arrived at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano State.
According to reports, the Super Eagles’ flight from Nigeria on Sunday was quickly altered to a far airport from the match location, resulting in a three-hour car trip to their final destination.
The players, pilots, and other staff were left stuck at the Libyan airport for more than 13 hours without access to basic supplies like food, drink, or a place to relax, which made the situation worse.
