The Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios production reportedly generated an estimated $72 million from preview screenings, including early showings, surpassing the $60 million record previously established by Avengers: Endgame in 2019.

Local box-office projections have placed the film’s opening weekend earnings between ₦300 million and ₦350 million.
Some more ambitious estimates suggest that the film could potentially generate ₦450 million to ₦500 million or more during its five-day opening period.
If those projections are achieved, the movie would comfortably surpass Nigeria’s current opening-weekend record of ₦247.4 million, held by Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Such a performance would further demonstrate the growing commercial importance of Nigeria’s cinema market for major international film releases.
