LAGOS: Popular Nigerian content creators Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth, popularly called Jarvis, have unveiled their official pre-wedding photographs ahead of their highly anticipated wedding ceremony scheduled for August 1, 2026.
The couple shared the stunning images in a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, giving fans a glimpse into the excitement and romance surrounding their upcoming nuptials.
Accompanying the photos, the lovebirds wrote:
These are more than just pictures, they’re memories before the big day. Our hearts are full, our smiles are real, and we’re counting down to forever. See you at the wedding.
The post quickly went viral, attracting thousands of likes, comments and congratulatory messages from fans, celebrities and fellow digital creators, many of whom wished the couple a happy married life.
The release of the pre-wedding photographs comes amid widespread social media discussions over the cost of the couple’s Aso Ebi for the wedding.
Earlier, during a live broadcast, Peller disclosed the pricing for guests interested in purchasing the official wedding fabric.
According to him:
- 4 yards – ₦350,000
- 8 yards – ₦700,000
- 12 yards – ₦1 million
The announcement generated mixed reactions online. While some Nigerians criticised the prices as excessive, others defended the couple, arguing that purchasing Aso Ebi is entirely optional and that celebrity weddings often feature premium-priced fabrics.
Responding to the criticism during a subsequent livestream, Peller clarified that no guest is under any obligation to buy the fabric.
He explained that the Aso Ebi is meant for supporters and well-wishers who wish to identify with the celebration, stressing that attendance at the wedding is not dependent on purchasing the attire.
With the countdown to August 1 now underway, excitement continues to build around what is expected to be one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings in Nigeria’s digital entertainment space.
Peller and Jarvis have built a massive following through their engaging online content and have become one of the country’s most recognised influencer couples. Their engagement and wedding preparations have attracted widespread attention across social media, with fans eagerly awaiting the big day.
The newly released pre-wedding photographs have further heightened anticipation, as supporters celebrate the couple’s journey toward marriage and look forward to witnessing the next chapte
