LAGOS: The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has confirmed the approval of an airstrip for Canaanland, the property known to be sitting the Living Faith Church in the Ota area of Ogun State.
In a brief video announcing the new government clearance for the church, David Oyedepo, the founder of the Church, also known as Winners Chapel, was seen congratulating the congregation on the progress.
This was made known by Oyedepo on Sunday during the Tehillah Night Special Edition at Covenant University Chapel in Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State.In September, the priest celebrated his 70th birthday, and a special celebration ceremony called Tehillah Night was organized in his honor.
When contacted, Minister Tunde Moshood’s media assistant verified this information and said the minister had given the airstrip his approval.
In fact, the airstrip received ministerial approval. I can confirm that it is a private airstrip with ministerial approval.
Oyedepo claims that this progress will allow him to travel straight from the church avoiding the need to take an aircraft to the airport previously.
