The founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo, has pronounced divine judgment on bandits and their alleged sponsors across Nigeria.
Speaking during a Sunday service themed “Covenant Day of Vengeance” at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State, the cleric declared that those responsible for killings and kidnappings in the country would face divine retribution within seven days.
Except I am not sent, in the next seven days, I declare judgment upon those responsible for these disasters and their sponsors in Jesus’ name, he said.
Oyedepo further stated that the coming days would usher in what he described as testimonies of vengeance, expressing confidence in imminent divine intervention.
While preaching on sanctification, the bishop urged worshippers to avoid spiritual complacency, noting that ungodliness hinders supernatural breakthroughs and negatively impacts destiny.
He warned that a lack of holiness could ultimately cost believers their place in eternity, which he described as the central goal of the Christian faith.
Until the God of vengeance shows up, the wicked will not give up, he added.
The remarks come amid ongoing concerns over insecurity in Nigeria, including persistent attacks by bandits and kidnappers in several regions.
