LAGOS: In a highly welcomed efforts to ensure that Church Leaders, and Ministers receive support to meet up to personal and family responsibilities at these economically challenging times in Nigeria, the Francis Well-beloved Dan Foundation, has recently doled out a love-token cash donation empowerment to them to add grease to their life and ministry progress wheels. And also to inspire the Church leaders to arise for greater impact in ministry.
The management of the foundation which was set up in loving memory of the very beloved and kind hearted humanitarian and philanthropist late Pastor Francis Dan, by his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Cecilia Dan, and Pastor Joseph Olusegun Adeyemi, the PFN Kosofe Province Vice-Chairman, friends and associates in the ministry vowed to ensure that the good charity works and vision of Pastor Francis Well-beloved Dan is kept alive to the glory of God, through this humanitarian foundation
To this effect, the foundation has been carrying out outreaches over the years which caters for the widows, needy, children and ministers of God. In their passionate pursuit of this the worthy legacy which Pastor Dan completely laid his life and well known for until his glorious transition, the Foundation, joyfully gave out financial empowerment to selected Ministers of God during their 2026 Empowerment event in Lagos, in line with their vision.
The management of the foundation kindly nominated Ministers of the Gospel, who were appreciated with their empowerment during the event. it was held at The Message of Life Bible Church, Ketu, Lagos. The ministry late Pastor Francis Well-beloved Dan single-handedly built and left behind.
In his speech at the event, the Chairman of Board of Trustees of the Foundation, Pastor Joseph Olusegun Adeyemi, his message titled A Life That Honours God, charge Ministers to live a life that honours a life that honours God, according to him, it is only that kind of life that will be remembered and rewarded by God and man. He stressed that a life that honours God is a life spent in service of men, like Pastor Francis Well-beloved Dan did during his time on earth.
He was always mindful of people’s well being above his own needs until his departure. Citing Matthew 25:31, he admonished Church Leaders to live a righteous life fully dedicated to the service to God and man, for there’s reward for it at the end of time. At the end of time God will separate sheep and goats for their reward
A life which honours God is a life that is totally submissive to serve both God and man with humility and love without expecting reward from man. We make impact in God’s service when we serve people who can’t give back to us. You see people like to give to rich people who can in turn bless them.
But when we give to people who are less priviledge, poor and hungry, you are giving to God according to the Scriptures. David was a man who honoured God, and God rewarded. He laid his entire life to honour God. Any man who honoured God, God will honour him
“It is the same with my very good friend, late Pastor Francis Well-beloved Oluwatoyin Dan. I am proud to tell you that he lived a life that honoured God. That is why we are proud to remember him with this foundation. His name is not Well-beloved.
It was God that gave him that name. He was passionate about people’s well being. He paid house rents, school fees for people, fed them and cared so much about them more than himself and family. He gave out clothes and shoes to people who are in need. He lived his life to please God faithfully.
We met in God’s service and became very close with his family. He was a man with big dreams for the Gospel propagation worldwide. He sponsored missionaries outside Nigeria and was so helpful to widows and the less priviledge. It was in the recognitions of that we bound ourselves in continuation of his worthy charity works that gave birth to this foundation. We will do our best to keep it going by God’s grace”, he assured.
Speaking at the event, the chair host of the event, Pastor (Mrs) Cecilia Dan, thanked God for her late husband whose life of uncommon service to God has been her inspiring in ministry till date. While testifying how they started their lives and ministry in an in uncompleted building, she implored Ministers to live a life of service to God and mankind for God rewards it bountifully.
The very compassionate woman of God appreciated Pastor Adeyemi and other friends and associates of her late husband for their love and support for the foundation. She gave out the financial empowerment to the Ministers in company of Pastor Adeyemi and other members of the foundation management. The beneficiaries showered appreciation and prayers to the kind gesture of the foundation.
Before the empowerment was given out, there were life touching testimonies from people whose life have been transformed by late Pastor Francis Well-beloved Dan. These included Ministers, Missionaries on foreign he sponsored, widows, less priviledge people among others.
The very encouraging event was grace by eminent Ministers of the Gospel such Apostle Israel David, PFN Kosofe Director of Missions and Outreach, Pastor Faithman Stephen, Pastor Omoniyi Idehen, immediate past PFN Ikosi-Ketu Chairman, Pastor Temidayo Abiodun, and a host of others.
