NGURU: The Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Nguru, Yobe State, Dr Hadiza Usman Abdullahi, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of her twin daughters, Dr Hadiya Usman and Dr Aisha Usman, who died just two days apart.
Hadiya, a medical doctor, reportedly died on Friday, while her twin sister, Aisha, a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), died on Sunday.
The tragic deaths have left the family, colleagues, friends and members of the medical community grieving the loss of the two young healthcare professionals.
The mother of the deceased confirmed the deaths in separate messages shared on her WhatsApp status, announcing the passing of her daughters.
The news has since generated an outpouring of sympathy, with relatives, colleagues and associates offering condolences and prayers to the bereaved family.
