EFCC Arraigns Blessing CEO Again Over Fresh Alleged N13 Million Fraud Case in Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned relationship expert and social media personality Blessing CEO before a court in Lagos over a fresh alleged fraud case involving N13 million.

According to the anti-graft agency, the charges border on obtaining money under false pretences. The commission presented the defendant before the court to answer allegations arising from the transaction, marking another legal challenge for the controversial media personality.

Although details of the charges were not immediately disclosed, court proceedings on the matter have commenced, with the prosecution outlining the allegations against the defendant.

The case was subsequently adjourned to a later date to allow for further hearing and consideration of the charges before the court.

The latest development comes weeks after the EFCC arraigned Blessing CEO in connection with another alleged fraud case involving N69.1 million.

The anti-graft agency has maintained that it remains committed to prosecuting financial crimes and ensuring that individuals accused of economic and financial offences are made to face the law.

Further details surrounding the fresh N13 million fraud allegations are expected to emerge as proceedings continue.
