LAGOS: Award-winning Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, has declared that turning 45 does not mark the end of her youthful years, but rather the beginning of a new chapter in her life and career.
The Afrobeats star made this known while responding to a fan who advised her to step away from music and focus on business ventures or investments.
The fan had written:
Tiwa, if I were you, I would stop singing. Not because your music isn’t good but because it’s high time you used the money you have and venture into business or genuine investment. You had a wonderful and fun youthful age and time.”
In a firm response, the mother of one dismissed the suggestion, making it clear she has no plans to quit music anytime soon.
She wrote:
Sweetheart, I have enough money and investments choke, no worry. The youthful age has just begun
Meanwhile, Savage confirmed that her highly anticipated album, This One Is Personal, will be released on Friday.
She revealed that the project, which took over two years to complete, was recorded across several cities including Nashville, Malibu, San Francisco, London, and Lagos.
According to her, the collection is deeply personal, reflecting her journey as both an artist and a woman with songs shaped by moments of pain, resilience, and joy.
The singer, often hailed as the Queen of Afrobeats, emphasized that this album captures some of her most defining life experiences, making it one of her most intimate works yet.
