Umunede Royals Shine as Palace Comes Alive for Monarch’s Triple Celebration

UMUNEDE: It was a day of joy, colour, and gratitude as the Obi of Umunede Kingdom, His Royal Majesty (Dr.) Ezeagwu Agadagidi Ezenwali I, JP, and his elegant wife, Her Royal Majesty, Queen Tonia Ezeagwu, marked a remarkable triple celebration: the monarch’s birthday, their wedding anniversary, and his coronation anniversary.

The celebration began with Aa solemn thanksgiving service at the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, Umunede, where the royal couple, joined by their children, family members, and the people of Umunede Kingdom, offered heartfelt thanks to God for His grace and favour.

The service drew an impressive congregation that included visiting royal fathers, dignitaries, and well-wishers from across Delta North (Anioma).

Following the thanksgiving, the royal palace became a beehive of activity as festivities continued in grand style. The beautifully decorated palace grounds overflowed with guests and dignitaries, including royal fathers from Ika land and beyond, who came to honour one of their own.

Women’s groups, cultural associations, and traditional troupes added glamour to the occasion with colourful displays of dance, songs, and cultural performances in celebration of the revered monarch and his queen.
