President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed former Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa as the South-South Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).
The announcement came during the inauguration of RHI zonal committees across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones in Abuja, chaired on behalf of the President by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma.
Other zonal appointments include Isah Yuguda (North-East), Aminu Bello Masari (North-West), Oladipupo Oyinbande (South-West), and Tanko Al-Makura (North-Central).
The Presidency says these committees are aimed at deepening public awareness of the government’s long-term plans, improving grassroots engagement, and ensuring RHI’s social, economic, and development programs reach every region.
The announcement comes shortly after President Tinubu nominated 32 new ambassadors, including career and non-career appointees, who will serve in strategic global posts once confirmed by the Senate.
