She explained that relocating to the UK does not mean abandoning Nigerian opportunities. With me being in the UK, I am representing Nigeria,” Tacha said. “I’ve already conquered the whole of the Nigerian market. Relocating to the UK doesn’t mean I won’t take Naija deals. If the money is good, why not?”
Tacha also discussed the challenges she faced working in Nigeria, particularly within the influencer industry. She recalled an instance where she was underpaid for an influencing gig.

The influencing scene in Naija looks beautiful, but behind the scenes, it’s not as beautiful because the money is shit,” she stated. Tacha described a situation where she was offered six million Naira (about $3,000) for six months of work, which included creating and posting two videos per month. “These videos need to be created!” she emphasized.

She expressed her frustration with Nigeria’s economic realities, noting that while the influencer market may seem lucrative on the surface, the compensation often falls short. “After leaving BBNaija in 2019, I started getting gigs, and the money was the same as what I just mentioned. It made sense then because we could book a plane ticket with it. But right now, $3,000 is nothing,” Tacha explained.
She also acknowledged the broader economic struggles in Nigeria, stating, “Everyone in Nigeria is going through tough economic times, including brands, companies, and even regular people. Unless you’re involved in underhand businesses, you won’t have money in excess.
