IBUSA: A suspected cultist has allegedly stabbed a teenage boy, identified simply as Rama, to death during a violent confrontation in Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The incident reportedly occurred on Monday during a clash between rival cult groups. The suspect, identified as Ikechukwu, also known as Iyke Donkwa, allegedly attacked the victim in the heat of the confrontation.
According to an anti-cultism advocacy group, Naija Confra, the attack was linked to the NBM (Aye) cult group. The organization confirmed that Ikechukwu was arrested shortly after the incident.
In a statement, the group said: Earlier today, Naija Confra received reports of a BKB incident that occurred yesterday involving the NBM (Aye) cult group in Ibusa, Delta State.
The Aye attacker, identified as Ikechukwu, alias Iyke Donkwa, reportedly stabbed the victim, known as Rama, after an altercation. Sources confirmed that the attacker has been arrested.
The deceased teenager has since been buried, while police authorities are expected to continue investigations into the incident.
