Sebastine Okoh Celebrates Birthday: How ‘Saba Na Baba’ Became a Symbol of Philanthropy and Community Development in Delta State

Hon. Sebastine Okoh, who serves as the Director-General of the Delta State Signage and Advertising Agency (DESSA), is widely recognised as one of Nigeria’s foremost advertising professionals, an accomplished businessman, respected politician and renowned philanthropist.

 He has earned himself a widespread recognition across Nigeria and Africa for his contributions to the advertising industry, grassroots development and humanitarian service.

Over the years, Okoh has built a reputation for visionary leadership, resilience and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of ordinary people.

His bold approach to leadership and dedication to community development have established him as one of Delta State’s most influential political and business figures.

Okoh’s philanthropic legacy is deeply rooted in his hometown of Umunede and neighbouring communities, where he has funded and supported numerous initiatives aimed at improving living conditions.

Among his landmark contributions is the provision of free community boreholes, making him one of the first prominent sons of Umunede to expand access to clean and safe drinking water for residents.
