ASABA: Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sparked concern among fans after a viral video surfaced online showing her lamenting about alleged violence and turmoil in her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.
In the trending clip, the 25-year-old actress was seen emotionally expressing frustration over what she described as repeated acts of violence and disrespect in her matrimonial home.
In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. I cannot stand the violence again; it is too much, Regina cried out in the video.
According to filmmaker Stanley On-Top, who posted the clip online, thugs allegedly sent by the Delta-born politician attacked Regina at night. He claimed that her brothers intervened to defend her during the altercation.
The video, which has since gone viral, appeared to capture the moment Regina’s brothers clashed with some of the alleged assailants.
As of press time, neither Regina Daniels nor Senator Nwoko has officially commented on the video or the allegations.
The incident has sparked massive reactions across social media, with many Nigerians expressing sympathy for the actress while others questioned the authenticity of the clip.
Some online commenters argued that the actress might be seeking attention, while others used the incident to caution young women against marrying much older wealthy men for comfort and fame.
