ASABA: Actor and socialite Sammy Daniels, the brother of popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has been granted bail in the sum of ₦5 million after spending several days in detention.
Sammy was reportedly released on Monday, November 10, 2025, following his remand in Keffi Prison by a Dutse Magistrate Court last Thursday before being transferred to Suleja Prison.
Confirming his release, his elder brother, who goes by @Sweezzy1 on Instagram, celebrated the development in a post on his story. Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you, he wrote.
It will be recalled that Sammy was arrested in Lagos about a week ago following a complaint reportedly filed by Senator Ned Nwoko, amid the ongoing public dispute between the lawmaker and his estranged wife, Regina Daniels.
The case has drawn widespread attention on social media, with several Nollywood figures and fans calling for fairness and restraint from all parties involved.
