Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has cried out over an overwhelming influx of messages from men after her phone number surfaced on Facebook.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, the actress said she has made repeated efforts to remove or change her phone number on the platform, but without success.
She revealed that she now wakes up daily to thousands of messages from men expressing interest in marrying her.
According to Nkechi, the suitors cutting across different ages and locations constantly introduce themselves and ask if she is truly single and ready for marriage.
She noted that the situation has become unmanageable, as blocking or archiving the messages no longer provides relief.
While clarifying that she is single, the actress stressed that she is not actively searching for a husband and appealed to the public to stop disturbing her.
The mother of one also disclosed that she has faced insults from some individuals who accuse her of getting older without being married but insisted that she should be left alone to live her life on her own terms.
Nkechi further explained that changing her phone number is not a simple option, as it is linked to many important personal and professional engagements.
She added that her WhatsApp account currently has more than 5,000 unread messages from men who obtained her contact details via Facebook, describing the experience as exhausting and emotionally draining.
It is impossible for one person to cope with this kind of pressure from so many people at the same time, she said, expressing frustration over the constant calls and messages.
