NDDC Boss Samuel Ogbuku Joins Digital e-Memo Platform to Boost Administrative Efficiency

PORT HARCOURT: The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Chief Samuel Ogbuku, PhD, has been onboarded onto the Commission’s digital e-Memo platform as part of efforts to accelerate digital transformation and improve administrative efficiency.

The onboarding exercise took place at the NDDC headquarters and marks another step in the Commission’s drive to integrate digital solutions into its internal administrative processes.

Speaking during the exercise, Ogbuku said the adoption of the digital e-Memo platform was in line with the Federal Government’s directive on digital transformation.

He also linked the initiative to the Commission’s policy of Transiting from Transactions to Transformations, which seeks to improve the way the NDDC conducts its operations through more efficient and technology-driven processes.

The NDDC Managing Director urged the Commission’s management and staff to fully embrace the new e-Memo process and comply with the digital workflow.

He stressed the importance of leveraging technology to improve administrative procedures and support more efficient operations across the Commission.

According to him, the adoption of digital platforms is increasingly important for modern public institutions seeking to improve internal processes and enhance service delivery.

The e-Memo platform is expected to provide a digital framework for handling official memoranda and administrative documentation within the Commission, reducing dependence on traditional paper-based processes.

The onboarding of the NDDC Managing Director onto the platform reflects the Commission’s broader effort to strengthen digital systems across its operations.

By moving administrative processes onto a digital platform, the Commission aims to make the processing of official documents more efficient while encouraging greater compliance with technology-driven workflows.

The initiative also supports the Federal Government’s broader digital transformation agenda, particularly the adoption of technology in public-sector administration.

Ogbuku’s participation in the onboarding exercise also sends a message to management and staff about the importance of using the platform as part of the Commission’s official administrative processes.

The NDDC has positioned its digital transformation efforts around the policy of Transiting from Transactions to Transformations.

The policy reflects an emphasis on moving beyond conventional administrative transactions towards systems that can support institutional transformation and improved efficiency.

The digital e-Memo platform is part of this approach, providing the Commission with a technology-based channel for managing internal memoranda and related administrative processes.

Ogbuku therefore called on members of management and staff to embrace the system and ensure compliance with the new process.

The NDDC’s adoption of the e-Memo platform is expected to further strengthen its digital administrative framework as the Commission continues to pursue technology-driven transformation across its operations.
