PORTHARCOURT: The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) marks 25 years of remarkable service and development in the Niger Delta region. At the heart of this milestone celebration is Mr. Chiedu Ebie, the current Chairman of the NDDC Governing Board, a seasoned leader whose expertise and vision continue to drive impactful progress in the region.
Born on January 2, 1970, Chiedu Ebie is a respected lawyer, oil and gas consultant, politician, and technocrat with decades of experience. His educational journey began at the Air Force Military School in Jos, followed by a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Benin in 1991.
He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1992, establishing a solid legal foundation early in his career.
In his commitment to lifelong learning, Ebie earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the University of London in 2012.
Over the years, he has built a reputation for integrity, competence, and leadership, which culminated in his appointment in 2023 by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Chairman of the NDDC Governing Board.
