joba Travels Expands Across Africa to Boost Continental Tourism

Ijoba Travels has expanded its tourism partnership network across Africa as part of efforts to strengthen the continent’s position in the global travel industry.

The company announced new partnerships in Uganda, Malawi and Zambia, extending its footprint to more than 20 destinations across the continent. Its existing operations already cover countries such as Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa and Seychelles.

According to the company, the expansion is driven by changing global travel patterns, particularly instability in parts of the Middle East and disruptions affecting some traditional tourism routes, which it believes present fresh opportunities for African destinations.

The chief executive of Ijoba Travels said the current shift in global travel trends offers a chance to reposition Africa as a preferred destination for international and regional travellers.

He noted that the continent’s diverse landscapes, cultural heritage and unique travel experiences remain largely underexplored despite growing interest from tourists worldwide.

The company said the new partnerships are designed to improve regional tourism connectivity, making cross-border travel within Africa easier while supporting local tourism businesses and ecosystems.

It added that a key part of its strategy is leveraging digital technology to support its expansion. Through its online platform, travellers can access destination information, trip planning tools and advisory services tailored to African travel experiences.

Ijoba Travels said its long-term plan includes deepening existing partnerships, entering additional African markets and strengthening operational systems that can support a more connected tourism sector.

The company expressed confidence that stronger regional collaboration and increasing global attention would drive the next phase of Africa’s tourism growth.
