Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has taken a fresh legal step in her long-running dispute with colleague Lizzy Anjorin, challenging allegations made against her and members of her family in a formal statement issued through her lawyers.

Iyabo shared the document on Instagram on Wednesday, October 14, under the title, “Rejoinder and Rebuttal to the Malicious, Libelous and Defamatory Publication by One Lizzy Anjorin-Lawal on the 11th Day of October, 2026.”
According to the legal statement, Lizzy Anjorin allegedly accused Iyabo Ojo and her daughter of controlling a network of more than 100 bloggers who were being used to target and harass her.
However, Iyabo’s lawyers rejected the allegations, describing them as malicious, defamatory and unfounded.
The legal team maintained that claims capable of damaging the reputations of their clients should be supported by credible evidence rather than circulated publicly without substantiation.
