Genocide: Christians Being Targeted in Nigeria – Full Details of Nicki Minaj’s Speech at the UN

WASHINGTON DC: American rapper Nicki Minaj has raised global attention to the plight of Christians in Nigeria, insisting that they are being targeted, displaced, and murdered by Islamic extremist groups.

Minaj made the statement on Tuesday while delivering a speech at the United Nations, following an announcement by US Ambassador to the UN, Mike Waltz, who said her appearance was aimed at spotlighting the alleged massacre of Christians in Nigeria.

During her address, the Starships rapper thanked US President Donald Trump for prioritizing issues of Christian persecution in Nigeria, noting that no group should ever be punished or attacked for practicing their faith.

She said:I would like to thank Donald Trump for prioritizing this issue and his leadership on a global stage, calling for urgent actions to protect Christians in Nigeria.

No group should be persecuted for practicing their religion.

Nicki Minaj expressed deep concern over reports from Nigeria, stating that Christians are being “targeted, driven from their homes and killed.

She added that churches have been burnt, families torn apart, and entire communities forced to live in constant fear.

She emphasized that her message was not about taking sides but about uniting humanity.

Nigeria is a beautiful nation. When someone’s church, mosque, or place of worship is destroyed, everyone’s heart breaks, s said.

The United Nations was founded to ensure peace and security, and that mandate should shake when places of worship are under attack.”

Minaj said she was joined at the event by peace advocates, faith leaders, and witnesses of violence who refused to remain silent.

Recalls that President Donald Trump previously designated Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern, following allegations raised by some US lawmakers regarding religious persecution. Nigerian authorities, however, have strongly denied the claims.

Reports indicate that the issue is currently under investigation by the Trump administration.
