David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is set to release a brand new soundtrack titled “Ogechi” ahead of his wedding today. Davido just got married to his long-time fiancée, Chioma Rowland, also known as Chef Chi, in Lagos on Tuesday.
The singer shared a stunning pre-wedding photo on Sunday, which has generated excitement among his fans. This double celebration of a new music release and a wedding has his followers eagerly anticipating both events.
To raise the excitement, Davido took to his Instagram account on Monday to share a clip of his new release featuring Boypee, Hyce, and Brown Joel. The 30BG leader also posted an image of the pre-released track, “Ogechi,” with the caption, “Igbo Kwenu!!! Tomorrow at noon, Anyi Apuo.”
This isn’t the first time Davido has released a track dedicated to the mother of his children. In 2019, he released “Assurance” to celebrate his future wife, Chioma. The success of that song also featured Chioma as the vixen in its video production, enhancing the connection between the couple and their fans.
