Engr. Ebite Emmanuel O. has emerged as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) senatorial candidate for Delta North following the successful conclusion of the party’s primary election, with his campaign describing the outcome as a clear reflection of the overwhelming support he enjoys across the district.
In a statement issued shortly after the primaries, the campaign thanked party leaders, delegates and supporters for their commitment throughout the exercise, noting that the victory was the result of months of grassroots mobilisation and engagement across the nine local government areas of Delta North.
Our structures were present, vigilant and united across the district. The dedication, sacrifice and belief of our supporters ensured that our message reached every community within the nine local government areas, the statement said.
The campaign also commended its media team for documenting activities throughout the primary election, stressing that comprehensive video recordings and other materials were gathered to ensure transparency, accountability and proper documentation of the process.
According to the campaign, field reports, delegate feedback and available evidence showed that Ebite Emmanuel secured overwhelming support across the senatorial district, leading in the majority of local government areas.

While expressing concern over what it described as attempts by some individuals to circulate misleading information and unofficial results, the campaign insisted that the outcome of the election was clear and reflected the wishes of party delegates.
It urged party members and the public to disregard unverified claims capable of creating confusion regarding the outcome of the primaries.
