Drake Sets New Spotify Record With 300 Songs Surpassing 100 million Streams

Global music superstar Drake has once again rewritten streaming history after becoming the first artist ever to record 300 songs with over 100 million streams on music platform Spotify.

The historic milestone was achieved on February 17, 2026, following the success of Mine, his collaboration with fellow global icon Beyoncé, which recently crossed the 100-million streaming mark.

The achievement further cements Drake’s dominance in the digital music era, placing him well ahead of other global streaming heavyweights such as Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, The Weekend, and Justin Bieber.

Unlike milestones driven by a handful of hit singles, Drake’s latest record reflects the extraordinary depth of his music catalogue.

Over the years, the rapper has maintained steady global listening numbers across albums, collaborations, and even older releases.

Streaming giants continue to reward consistency, and Drake remains the artist with the highest number of songs exceeding one billion streams on Spotify — an indication of sustained audience engagement rather than short-term chart success.

Classic hits such as One Dance, which has surpassed four billion streams, and “God’s Plan,” one of the platform’s most successful rap songs, continue to attract massive daily listenership years after release.

Tracks from his critically acclaimed 2011 album Take Care are still adding millions of plays, with the title track alone exceeding 700 million streams.

More recent releases are also contributing significantly. His 2025 collaboration NOKIA with PARTYNEXTDOOR has already crossed 500 million streams, while fan favourites like Nonstop and Jimmy Cooks continue to generate hundreds of thousands of daily plays globally.

Albums including Views (2016), Scorpion (2018), and Certified Lover Boy (2021) collectively attract millions of streams each day, proving the longevity of his musical influence.

Interestingly, despite not releasing a solo studio album in 2025, Drake’s catalogue reportedly accumulated over one billion streams within the first 20 days of 2026 alone largely powered by older material.

Industry analysts attribute Drake’s streaming dominance to his genre-blending style, which merges rap, R&B, and pop, allowing his songs to thrive across multiple playlists worldwide.

His frequent collaborations have also expanded his reach, with guest appearances often becoming commercial hits that further strengthen his streaming footprint.

Fans are now looking forward to Drake’s upcoming solo album, ICEMAN, expected for release later in 2026 under OVO Sound and Republic Records.

The project, reportedly featuring production from Tay Keith and Oz, will mark his first solo studio effort since 2023’s For All the Dogs.
