Commissioner Leads Hilltop Club 72 on Tour of Enugu Projects

ENUGU: The Enugu State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr.: Ben Osy Okoh, has led members of Hilltop Club 72, Lagos, on an inspection tour of some ongoing infrastructure projects being executed by the Enugu State Government.

The visit provided members of the club with an opportunity to assess first-hand the scale and progress of infrastructure development across the state.

According to a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Ngozi Ngene, the tour offered the visitors insight into the scope, pace and expected impact of the projects.

Speaking during the tour, Okoh said the ongoing projects reflected the commitment of the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah to building a modern, productive and prosperous Enugu State through strategic investment in infrastructure and sustainable development.

The Commissioner explained that the state government’s infrastructure programme was designed to improve connectivity, stimulate economic activities, open up communities and enhance the quality of life of residents.

He expressed delight at hosting members of Hilltop Club 72, noting that the tour allowed them to witness the progress being made across different parts of the state.

The visitors inspected selected ongoing projects and received briefings on their scope, current level of completion and expected socio-economic benefits to Enugu State.

Okoh reaffirmed the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure’s commitment to ensuring the timely delivery of quality infrastructure in line with the development agenda of the Mbah administration.

He said the government would continue to prioritize projects capable of supporting economic growth, improving mobility and creating better living conditions for residents across the state.
