AGBOR: Akumazi Kingdom in Ika Northeast was thrown into chaos on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, after the shocking arrest of Mr. Emma Nkwor, a father of two, who allegedly abused a 13-year-old girl (name withheld).
He was first arrested by men of the Nigeria Forest Security Service before being handed over to the police in Umunede.
Visiting the girl’s home in Idumu Ogwade, her parents, Uchenna and Bridget Sunday, were in deep sorrow.
They said their hearts shattered when their daughter told them what happened. They couldn’t believe that someone they knew someone who came to their shop regularly would do something so monstrous.
The girl often helped her parents at their small shop selling palm wine and other little goods. We never suspected anything, her father said.
He came to buy palm wine like any other customer. We never imagined he had this in mind.
The parents began noticing troubling changes in their daughter vomiting, strange behavior, and going to the toilet at odd hours. When they finally asked her what was wrong, she told them everything.
Emma has been sleeping with me, she said. The parents were stunned. Speechless. Angry. Heartbroken. They quickly involved security and he was arrested.
Through tears, they begged the authorities to make sure he pays for what he did. “What he did is unforgivable, they said.
The girl recounted the abuse herself. It began with a small gesture: a bottle of Pepsi he bought for her at the shop. But it escalated.
After that, he started coming for me all the time. The first time he slept with me, he forced me to swear an oath not to tell anyone.
