The Zonal Electoral Committee (ZECO), has launched a the checklist of delegates forward of the Ijaw Youth Council elections in Western Zone.
The 72 delegates drawn from the 24 clans that make up the zone consisting of Delta, Edo and Ondo states, will decide winners on the polls slated for June 5, 2024.
The checklist of delegates launched on Thursday, was signed by Comrade Emmanuel Akpule and Icon-James Tam, ZECO Chairman and Secretary respectively.
“The Zonal Electoral Committee (ZECO) of the Western Zone, 2024, having collated lists of delegates from all 24 (twenty-four) clans within the zone, wish to inform the general public, particularly aspirants for the forth- coming Western Zone elections, that the connected names from the assorted clans are the one delegates eligible to vote on the congress in Odimodi on the 4th and fifth June, 2024.
“Transportation has been supplied for all delegates as follows:
“Take off level: King Couple Water Entrance, NPA Outdated Port Warri.
“Take off time: 11 am
Accreditation of Delegates: Delegates will be accredited at the waterfront before the boat departs for Odimodi. Therefore, delegates are expected to bring a valid ID card, voter card, or national identification card for proper identification.
“We want everybody journey mercies backward and forward their locations.”
