ABUJA: The APC Party | All Progressives Congress (APC) has elected a new set of national officers at its 4th Elective National Convention held at Eagle Square in Abuja.
At the convention held on Friday night, Nentawe Yilwatda was returned as the National Chairman of the ruling party, while Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru emerged as the National Secretary.
The announcement was made by the Convention Election Committee, which disclosed that the officers emerged through a consensus arrangement adopted by party stakeholders.
The convention brought together top leaders of the party, including Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas.
Delegates from across the country gathered at the event to elect members of the National Working Committee (NWC), which will steer the affairs of the ruling party for the next term.
