LAGOS: The RapidoSpace News family proudly celebrates Sir Dr. Frank Odion Apokwu, DSc (honoris causa), B.Ed., MBA, LL.B., FNIM, FSM, FIMC, FMSc, CMC, a distinguished public administrator, management consultant, legal professional, public affairs analyst and accomplished writer, as he marks another milestone in his life.
A gentleman of remarkable intellectual depth, professional discipline and commitment to public service, Sir Frank has built an impressive career spanning public administration, governance, management consultancy, law and public policy. His professional journey reflects a consistent dedication to institutional development, strategic thinking and the pursuit of excellence.
An alumnus of the University of Benin, where he obtained a Bachelor of Education degree in Political Science and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Sir Frank also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the National Open University of Nigeria. He is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Delta State University, Abraka Nigeria Oleh Campus.
In recognition of his contributions and professional journey, he received an honorary Doctor of Science degree in Leadership and Corporate Governance from European-American University – Education beyond boundaries
His professional credentials further underscore his commitment to continuous learning and excellence. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (chartered) the Nigerian Institute of Strategic Management (Chartered), the Institute Of Management Consultants of Nigeria and the Academy of Management Science. He is also a PRINCE2 Certifications holder. Sir Frank’s public service career includes several strategic positions in Delta State. Between 2011 and 2016, he served as Director in the Office of the Secretary to the State Government. He subsequently served as Director of Administration at the Delta State Ministry of Information from 2016 to 2018, before becoming Project Coordinator of the World bank – Nigeria – State Employment and Expenditure for Results Project report a position he held from 2018 to 2021.
These responsibilities form part of a distinguished record of public administration and institutional engagement, reflecting his experience in government operations, project coordination and development administration.
Beyond his administrative and professional accomplishments, Sir Frank is a respected voice in public affairs and political economy. His interests in democratic governance, public policy, strategic management, institutional development and public-sector reform continue to inform his intellectual engagements and writings.
As a proficient writer and thoughtful analyst, he brings experience and critical insight to discussions on governance, leadership, politics and national development.
