Nigerian Army Rescues Four Kidnap Victims in Delta State During Raid on Criminal Hideout

DELTA STATE: In a successful operation, soldiers of the 63 Brigade of the Nigerian Army rescued four kidnap victims from the clutches of their captors in Ugbolu Forest, Delta State, on Monday, December 9, 2024. The operation, based on reliable intelligence, involved a carefully planned raid on a known hideout of the kidnappers, resulting in a fierce gun battle that ultimately led to the rescue of the hostages.

According to Major Emmanuel Onoja, Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, the raid was executed with precision, thwarting the kidnappers’ efforts to extort large ransoms from the victims’ families. The four individuals, who had been held hostage for several days in the dense forest, were immediately provided with medical care and other necessary support before being reunited with their loved ones.
