AGBOR: In a significant show of support for educational growth, the Mbiri Community in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State has generously donated 22.5 hectares of land to the University of Delta Agbor (UNIDEL). The official handover of the land was made by the Obi of Mbiri, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Ifeanyichukwu Alekwe, during a formal event hosted in honour of the University’s management team.
The donation of the land is a testament to the community’s commitment to fostering educational development in the region. His Royal Majesty, Dr. Alekwe, explained that the decision to donate the land was driven by the community’s strong desire to contribute to the growth and expansion of UNIDEL.

During the visit, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the University’s Governing Council, Emeritus Prof. Emmanuel Nwanze, led a delegation that included other members of the University’s management team.
