Mujahid Asari-Dokubo has warned those behind the planned nationwide protest against hardship to forget about extending it to the Niger Delta.
The former Niger Delta freedom fighter said this on Tuesday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital at the Niger Delta Sensitization Conference for Ethnic Nationalities, Youths, and Women’ with the theme ‘Come let us build together.
The repentant militant warned them to expect resist and described them “rebels,” arguing that their sole purpose was to acquire resources from the Niger Delta.
He warned them to expect opposition and called them “anarchists,” alleging that their sole objective was to grab resources from the Niger Delta.
People will continue to ride on you if you let them use you and always bend over for their benefit.”Do our demands fit into their demand of ten points? No.
Therefore, to them, we are irrelevant. Yet, they wish to share our resources with others.
I want to emphasize that I am capable. If you bring your demonstration close to where I am, you are going to face violence.
Those who carried anti-protest weapons and traveled to Oyigbo, in the state of Rivers, received praise for their efforts.

I along with anyone who believes in me and all of you who are committed to the Niger Delta’s pursuits, we will not participate in any protest,” he said. That much is evident.
