ATIKU VISIT TO DAURA: That is undoubtedly a political transfer –Doyin Okupe

Daura Kastina State: Former President Muhammadu Buhari was in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, on Saturday, June 22. welcomed the PDP’s 2023 presidential candidate and former vice president. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

At around 11:25 a.m., the former vice president touched down at Katsina’s Umaru Musa Yar’adua Airport aboard a private plane. He then proceeded straight to Daura, where he visited the former president at his Palace.

Atiku was accompanied on the trip by Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, the former governor of Sokoto State, Ibrahim Tsauri, the former national secretary of the PDP, as well as supporters and party members.

Chatting with journalists in Katsina after the meeting, the former vice president stated he was known by the former president and the Emir of Daura and he is here to congratulate them on the profitable celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir pageant.

Reacting to pictures of the visit, Doyin Okupe, like some Nigerians, believes that the visit is politically motivated and geared in the direction of the 2027 elections.
