Businesswoman and media personality, Sophia Momodu, has sent out a strong public service announcement to fellow parents after observing what she described as a worrying trend in children’s party and playdate invitations.
Taking to her Snapchat page, Momodu revealed that she has come across several kiddies’ event invites that boldly state conditions such as no parents or no nanny.
She made it clear that any invitation with such restrictions would not get her attention, stressing that she would simply decline to engage with them.
According to her, the presence of a parent or trusted caregiver at children’s gatherings is non-negotiable, as it plays a crucial role in ensuring proper supervision, safety, and overall well-being of the child.
She implied that setting rules that exclude parents or nannies raises concerns and is not something she is comfortable with.
