On Tuesday, the senator representing Kogi Central arrived at the National Assembly premises in Abuja, traveling in a black vehicle.
However, her convoy was stopped at the first gate by security officials, who refused to grant her entry.
The vehicle ahead of hers, carrying well-known activist Aisha Yesufu, was also barred from entering the grounds.
After waiting briefly, Senator Natasha stepped out of her car and proceeded on foot, accompanied by a group of supporters. Upon reaching the second gate, she was stopped once again and told to turn back by the security personnel on duty.

Nevertheless, she and her supporters managed to bypass the checkpoint, only to encounter a locked gate further inside the compound, which prevented them from proceeding any further.
This incident comes in the wake of a court judgment last week that ordered the Senate to recall Senator Natasha despite the suspension she is currently serving.
In response to the ruling, the senator vowed to resume her seat and carry on with her duties, challenging the Senate’s suspension.
The situation remains ongoing, with more updates expected as events unfold.
