ASABA: Despite our resolve not to acknowledge any distraction, we as members of Ika North-East Local Government Area, APC Leaders Forum, can not pretend to be unaware of the baseless, unfounded, dumb, unintelligent and shallow publication made by Mr Ekene Kerry and his gang of misplaced and displaced political destitutes, and dated 17th July, 2025.
First and foremost, it is important to remind Mr Ekene Kerry and his co-travellers that replying their mundanely watery and weak rejoinder is not worth it, but it has become imperative to send him that significant signal that may likely expose his irresponsibility, insensitivity and insincerity with the common trust bequeathed to him by the members of APC in Ika North-East Local Government Area, for the past couple of years.
In a bid to mockingly acknowledge their shame and sham of a rejoinder, let us go through their lines of lies and lay them bare for the public to witness.
A supposed party chairman whose only achievement after so many years in office, is to falsely claim that he paid rent for a pathetically looking party secretariat that could be mistaken for a palm wine drinking joint, with an unsanitized, unfurnished, unkempt, unorganized and uninhabitable condition, is nothing but a glorified failed house-porter.
Moreso, our findings have revealed that the ownership of the property is presently fed up with the party’s insolvency regarding the accumulated rent arrears and may soon take back possession of the subject matter, whereas Mr Ekene Kerry, the overzealous and overambitious party chairman keeps running from pillar to post, collecting money from party members like ushers collecting church offerings, day in-day out, under the guise of raising money for the payment of the party secretariat’s rent.
Some of us, having realized then that this repetition of same story line has become a fraudulent format, quickly adjusted and withdrew from the unintelligent and unpalatable extorting game.
Also in their lies-infested rejoinder, certain claims were made regarding the gifting of food and household items to selected party faithfuls by some acclaimed leaders as stated therein.
As a matter of fact, the list of names in that terrible write-up that were tagged as leaders, is nothing but a roll call of political lilliputians and midgets in the local government area, whose ideas are myopically and tragically tied to the miserable, miserly and malnourished grains of rice they seasonally offer their gullible political praise singers, who are ignorant of the mystery behind the annual sacrifice.
Perhaps, it is high time we reminded them that not everyone in the party is naive and daffy. The motive behind the uncharismatic and ‘charlatanistic’ gifting of expired grains of rice to some APC faithfuls in Ika North-East Local Government Area by these men is purely satanic and ritualistic.
This is formally raising a ‘red flag’ of warning to the usual beneficiaries of this ‘greek gift’ to mind what they receive from some quarters. As equally claimed in the unfortunate rejoinder, it is important to inform the public that the purported gifting of refrigerators, motorcycles and other items to selected party members is nothing but a ploy to acquire some cheap and childish political accolades in ika land.
It has also been alleged that those items were mostly non-functional, while some were part of the diverted relief materials, originally meant for some IDPs in various camps.
The most heartbreaking aspect of the story is that some of the so-called beneficiaries, became owners of the items only on camera as majority of them woke up from sleep the next morning, to discover that they were just used to fraudulently stage-manage some funny political charity
The big question then is; What was Ekene Kerry and his co-dancers of shame referring to as “Genuine Support” in their vague and verbose rejoinder of 17th July, 2025?
No wonder people nicknamed them “Rice Politicians”.
Consequently, our esteemed party men and women in Ika North-East Local Government Area, can no longer be deceived and be dissuaded by these homogeneous and monotonous largesses, that are like fishbones in their throats. They now know better and are currently chanting the epic slogan; “Our mumu don do”.
In like manner, some of the youths were purportedly given political appointments since 2023, without receiving any instruction, direction or remuneration;
The ideas and processes were fake, fictitious and fabricated ~ broad daylight robbery (The more you look, the less you see). A case of man’s inhumanity against man and some of them are currently depressed and discouraged.
According to these people, the day of judgement is here already.
On a strong note of warning, the unwarranted attack on the personality of one of our members, who also doubles as one the most politically reliable and adorable leaders in Ika federal constituency, is unfathomable despite the fact that the ‘rejoinder’ lacked the courage and capacity to expressly mention his name therein.
But, according to that typewritten note of blasphemy and barbaric lies, assuming that their dismissible insinuations were true about Hon. Sebastine Okoh, why don’t the rest of them, including the self acclaimed ‘maximum’ or ‘minimum’ leader, as well as the other one that looks like ‘tolotolo’ that junkets Abuja and gallivants Ika land with a cosmetic convoy, do the same thing by politically gripping their own communities, in order to become popular like Hon. Sebastine Okoh in Umunede, so that with such separate and squad-like controls here and there, they could have respectively given their local political rivals a run for their money in each of their communities.
With that status quo, they would have emerged stronger at the end of those successive polls and hitherto, they would have also made APC greater at the end of the day.
Instead of maintaining such diligence, they kept boasting and bantering in every electioneering campaign and ended up hiding like demented rats in their dark holes on each day of election, due to the intimidations from erstwhile PDP political brigadiers, like Hilary Ibegbulem, Victor Nwokolo and Ehiedu Aniagwu, to mention but a few in their respective communities. What a dance of shame!
Significantly, the results of 2019 and 2023 general elections respectively, will keep showcasing their political cluelessness and weightessness, because their own action begins and ends in their mouths.
Therefore, any attempt to dispute this fact, will provoke our publishing online, the respective election results of both years as it concerns Ika North-East Local Government Area and tagging each one of them to their individual units and wards, so that political observers and spectators will see how woeful and clueless, some of the self-acclaimed leaders of APC in Ika North-East Local Government Area have been all these while.
They are a bunch of local champions that kept failing elections, right in their own backyards, including the ‘olodo’ that calls himself, the local government party chairman.
When you see the unit results of these mouthy impostors, you begin to wonder wether the members of their extended family also ran away from them on the day of each election.
During the last general election in 2023, Ekene Kerry, the unfortunate chairman of APC in Ika North-East Local Government Area, being a certified product of localized political hand-picking and hand-bagging, did not deem it necessary to build at least one campaign billboard for any of the candidates flying his party’s flag within his Owerre Olubor community, but was busy receiving political royalties and campaign funds from different candidates, including those within and outside the party because wether the party wins or loses, his concern remains how much he can squeeze out of the uncertain situation.
In the end, the fish obviously started smelling and became rotten from the head.
The votes he gathered for APC at his unit in the last general election was a far cry from even the number of confirmed voters in his family house.
After scrutinizing the scenario, we were forced to ask;
Does that mean that his kinsmen that form part of the Owerre Olubor electorates don’t believe in him? Yet, a sparrow like him is challenging an eagle like Hon. Sebastine Okoh to a flight… Well, intoxication is the greatest supplier of fake courage and false confidence.
In the meantime, the same party chairman has been alleged as well, to be building a massive personal edifice, along Ekwuoma/Owerre Olubor road in his community.
At least, one need no soothsayer to expose the reason for the prevailing desperation and determination as constantly exhibited by the chronic opportunist.
The rodent that is recklessly dancing through the fire will soon be stilled and stiffened by the heat of the moment. It is very obvious that this adventurous journey will be very long as issues raised in our previous communique regarding the abuse of power and privilege by Mr Samuel Ekene Kerry, the so-called chairman of APC in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State is being treated with levity and contempt; Instead of morally and honourably doing the needful, the parrot is becoming more flippant and floppy with words that lacked courtesy and cordiality, despite the fact that our observations were clear and our demands were simple.
He has now decided to dance more shamefully inside the fire rather than avoidng it.
Basically, we are waiting to see if he can boldly exhibit such degree of reckless impunity and impedance, when he is eventually dragged and docked in no distant time.
Certainly, Ekene Kerry is on the verge of making history as the first Ika North-East LGA, APC Chairperson, that will be bundled by the antigraft agency, courtesy of an ‘order of mandamus’.
The whole drama is about to commence, as the dice is cast.
We shall watch and see how events will eventually unfold in the coming days.
Finally, we want to use this medium to call on some of the aggrieved party LG and Ward Executives in APC, Ika North-East Local Government Area, whose songs are basically not in consonant with the terrible and discordant tunes of Ekene Kerry’s administration to continue to stand up for what they believe, without fear or favour and challenge the prowling evil.
Things have changed as nobody can intimidate them anymore for not bending to the slave masters in the party.
APC in Ika North-East Local Government Area, has now metamorphosed into one very big family, unlike those days when the party was ran and managed like ‘Ekene Kerry & Co Enterprises’.
Reformation and redemption has began earnestly and we are confident of a better tomorrow for all and not just for a greedy few.
On that note, we invite all APC faithfuls and the general public in Ika North-East Local Government Area, to join us as we speak more about Ekene Kerry and his co-dancers of shame, vis-a-vis their terrible deeds with our collective political destiny in APC, on selected radio and TV stations in the state.
