LAGOS: The Big Brother Naija Season 10 reality show delivered another twist-filled weekend as two more housemates, Kuture and Joanna, were evicted during Sunday’s live eviction show in Lagos.
The show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, announced their departure in front of millions of viewers, with Joanna being the first to leave before Kuture followed later in the night.
Their eviction capped a turbulent 48 hours in the house, coming less than a day after Thelma Lawson and Bright Morgan were unexpectedly evicted during the Saturday night party.
The surprise Saturday eviction was the first of its kind this season, shaking both housemates and fans.
During Sunday’s live show, Ebuka put some housemates on the spot with hard-hitting questions.
He asked Kola why he continued pursuing fellow contestant Dede despite signs that she may not be interested beyond the house. Kola admitted his feelings had been difficult to contain, especially while living in close quarters with her.
Jason Jae was also confronted over claims that he had been monitoring Sultana’s movements while growing close to Joanna. He denied the suggestion, insisting Sultana was free to do whatever she pleased.
Meanwhile, Joanna clarified that her bond with Faith was nothing beyond friendship, while Kuture dismissed the gist-spreader label tagged on him by fellow housemates, saying he was unbothered by perceptions.
Following their exit, the evicted housemates joined Ebuka on stage. Joanna expressed gratitude for the support she had received from fans, while Kuture hinted at exploring opportunities outside the house.
Saturday’s evictees also made appearances. Thelma Lawson teased fans about a possible collaboration with fellow ex-housemate Kaybobo, while Bright Morgan reflected on his eviction, saying he had no regrets about his actions with fellow contestant Mide.
In the official weekly voting results, Kuture ranked the lowest among the bottom four housemates, followed by Bright Morgan, Joanna, and Thelma Lawson, who received the least votes.
With four housemates leaving in just one weekend, the competition has tightened significantly. Friendships, alliances, and budding rivalries are now under pressure as the show progresses toward its decisive weeks.
This weekend’s double-night eviction has been described by fans as the most dramatic yet, solidifying Season 10’s reputation as one of the most unpredictable editions in BBNaija history.
Viewers now eagerly await how the remaining housemates will navigate the shifting dynamics inside the house, especially as the stakes grow higher and the finale draws closer.
