The presidency has figured the presidential candidate of Labour party in the 2023 general election,Mr Peter Obi as the influncer of the plan National protest schedule for August 1.
Bayo Onanuga, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, said the former Anambra Governor is the brain behind the organizers of the Nationwide anti hunger and hardship protest..
He has therefore urged the security agencies to hold the Labour Party candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi, responsible for the outcome of the protest.
Onanuga stated this on his X handle on Saturday, he argued that the organisers of the protests were the same people who infiltrated the #EndSARS Movement in 2020 to cause mayhem across the country.
Onanuga wrote: “Don’t be fooled: the malcontents planning to stage nationwide protests are supporters of Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, the failed presidential candidate of the Labour Party. And he should be held responsible for whatever crisis from the action.
The protest planners are also the same people who were instigated by IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu to launch the destructive ENDSARS protest in Nigeria in October 2020.
