UMUNEDE: Dominion Hotels and Suites, Umunede- renowned for its modern facilities, comfortable ambiance, and spacious event halls was the proud host of the 5th Annual Children’s Day Celebration organized by the Dominion Children Love Foundation. The event was held in grand style and attracted over 1,000 children along with parents, guardians, and community members from far and near.
The day was packed with fun, learning, and inspiration. Children actively participated in various engaging activities including debates, quizzes, traditional and community value question-and-answer sessions, games, dance competitions, and more.
Winners in each category were honored with gold medals, encouraging excellence, creativity, and cultural pride.
To demonstrate love and support for the children, the Foundation distributed educational items worth millions of Naira, including customized school bags, notebooks, writing materials, lunch boxes, and water bottles.
These gifts not only brought smiles to young faces but also underscored the Foundation’s mission to promote education and empowerment.
In her address, the Chairperson of the Foundation, Mrs. Helen Uche Ngozi, expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for the success of the event.
She thanked the children, parents, volunteers, and supporters and reaffirmed her commitment to sustaining the annual celebration. We will continue this tradition of love, learning, and giving every year, she assured.
