Kano: The All Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Kano state chapter has openly refute the alleged suspension of Kano state Governor, Alhaji Abba Yusuf from the party by a faction of the National Executive Committee of the party, describing it as illegal.
The state chapter of the party also dismissed the expulsion of the leader of the party and its presidential candidate in the 2023 General Elections, Sen. Rabi’u Kwankwaso by the same group.
The party in their statement described the suspension as “laughable”, insisting that it was carried out by some Mischievous expelled party members.
The supposed suspension and expulsion were deemed “unserious and of no consequence to the party, whatsoever,” according to Mr. Dungurawa.
He called the action “absurd” and questioned how Kwankwaso, the National Leader of the NNPP, and Yusuf, the party’s sole governor, could be expelled and suspended by an allegedly sponsored group of party members who had been expelled.
Mr Dungurawa also described the purported suspension and expulsion as “seriousness and of no consequence to the party, whatsoever.”
In his statement, he said the leadership of the party genuinely mandated by members across the country would not be distracted by the evil act of the sponsored group.
Again, He said the National leader of the party Alhaji Kwakwaso is focused in developing the NNPP to continue to provide good governance to Kano People. and Nigerians. Our leader remains focused and strong in winning more members across the country, in spite of the evil machinations of outside forces.”
