ASABA: A dramatic clash between social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) and comedian Mr Jollof unfolded aboard a United Nigeria Airlines flight, sparking massive reactions across social media.
The two public figures were travelling from Asaba, Delta State, to Lagos on Monday, November 17, when a heated argument escalated into a physical altercation.
A viral video shared by Facebook user Dr Paul Ezike captured the shocking moment both men exchanged punches inside the aircraft.
The footage, which quickly spread across Instagram and X, shows VDM and Mr Jollof struggling as other passengers looked on in disbelief.
The incident comes after a long-running feud between the duo, which intensified when VDM previously accused Mr Jollof’s wife of alleged infidelity with internet fraudsters an accusation that triggered their online war of words.
VDM later confirmed the altercation on his Facebook page, claiming he had dealt with the comedian during the confrontation.
This incident follows VDM’s recent online criticisms of the Super Eagles after their loss to DR Congo during a penalty shoot-out in the World Cup qualifiers.
The activist blasted the team for lacking passion and consistency, noting that many players perform better for their clubs than for the national team. He praised goalkeeper Kingsley Nwabali, saying he was the only player who showed real fight during the match.
In another trending update, VDM recently posted photos with a fair-skinned lady, standing in a romantic pose. He concealed her face but teased followers, saying they should simply know “it was sweet.
The post stirred reactions, with many tagging influencers Jojo of Lele, who later responded to comments.
