STANLEY MBULU BECOMES A FELLOW OF THE INSTITUTE FOR CRISIS RESOLUTION, PEACEBUILDING & CONCILIATION (ICRPC)

ABUJA: The African College Of Crisis Management & Peacebuilding on Friday, in a grandiosely organized event at Abuja, FCT, inducted Barr. Stanley Chiedu Mbulu, an Abuja-based Legal Practitioner and Media Maestro, as a fellow of the Institute For Crisis Resolution, Peacebuilding & Conciliation (ICRPC).

The event attracted dignitaries from all walks of life, including Diplomats, Politicians, Clergymen, Legal Practitioners, Media Giants and other stakeholders.
About 25 persons were inducted and recognized for their various contributions to national and humanitarian development via their respective fields of endeavour, including Barr. Stanley Mbulu and one famous and foremost Abuja based unionist and social activist, Comrade Benjamin Sesan Aina.

In his remark, the President of the Institute and Chairman of the Council, ICRPC, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony I. Bature, identified peaceful coexistence and crisis resolution as a panacea for economic and sociopolitical development of nations across the universe, noting that the brewing of discontents is natural amongst humanity, but what makes the difference remains the exhibition of forgiveness, tolerance, understanding and reconciliation.

He stressed that no geographical entity can move forward in any aspect, if confronted and caged by the inferno of crisis that are being serially and systematically fueled by man and nature.

The Registrar General of the Institute, Dr Abdulwaheed Odewale, eulogized the inductees and reminded them that the process employed in their recognition and confirmation by the Institute, was base on high recommendations, smart identifications and careful selections.
He encouraged the inductees to keep the flag of excellence flying in their respective endeavours, as well become good ambassadors of the Institute in particular and the nation in general.

In his response, Barr. Stanley Mbulu, on behalf of other inductees appreciated the recognition and gesture from the professional body and promised to raise the bar in other to rekindle and reinforce more recommendations and future honours from related organizations.

Meanwhile, many professionals, political leaders and business executives from Lagos, Port Harcourt, Asaba, Enugu, Benin, Jalingo, Makurdi, Kano, Kaduna, Jos, etc all formed part of the new inductees of the Institute, which were basically categorized and emphasized.

Earlier before the Induction Ceremony, a workshop was organized by the Institute with a lecture titled “Climate Change, Conflict And Global Multi-Level Governance” and delivered by Dr Emmanuel Achus of the Department of Political Science, Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution Unit, Nigerian Army University, Biu, Borno State, which was highly attended by top rated participants who specifically commended the organizers for prioritizing peace keeping as a ladder for taking the nation to the next level of development and civilization.
