Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board
The Senate will continue the confirmation process with the screening of additional nominees for the Rivers State Primary Health Care Board on Wednesday.
Senate Majority Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, who chairs the 18-member ad hoc committee overseeing the screening, confirmed that no petitions or objections were raised against any of the nominees.
All nominees underwent comprehensive security screening and complied with asset declaration requirements as stipulated by law, Bamidele stated.
We will now compile our recommendations and forward them to the Senate plenary for final confirmation.
Once the screening is finalized, the Senate will review and vote on the committee’s report in the next plenary session, determining which of the nominees will be officially confirmed.
