Dayo Amusa Claps Back at Critics, Declares Baby’s Paternity “Nobody’s Business

LAGOS: Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has once again addressed the ongoing speculation surrounding her baby’s paternity following her recent childbirth. During a live session on TikTok, the 41-year-old film star firmly stated that the identity of her child’s father is a private matter and it is no one’s business to inquire or offer unsolicited congratulations.

Amusa made it clear that while she appreciates the support of her fans, she values her privacy and will not entertain public interference in her personal life. There are certain things you can’t have satisfaction on. I will only let out what I want to let out. I want to have peace. I want to maintain my peace and steeze, she emphasized.

The Surulere-born actress further expressed her desire for tranquility and noted that since she is the public figure, her personal matters, including the paternity of her child, remain private.

The person is not in the public eye, she added, referring to her child’s father. Amusa welcomed her baby boy on November 18, 2024, in the United States, sharing the joyous news with her fans and industry colleagues on Instagram.

She also held a naming ceremony for her newborn on November 25, 2024, with a select group of colleagues, including veteran actress Fali Werepe and Iyabo Ojo, in attendance.

The names revealed for her son were Oluwafirewamiri, Oluwakemi, Oluwayemisi, and Oluwaponmile.
